2024-25 Little Ram Mat Club

The Little Ram Mat Club is a competitive wrestling program for boys and girls in kindergarten through 6th grade, in association with the Greene County Youth Athletic Association (GCYAA) that is designed to teach skills appropriate for each level, build upon those skills and encourage growth that prepares wrestlers for the next level.

PROGRAM DATES

Starts November 11th, 2024
Ends February 6th, 2025

Sessions

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
3rd Grade - 6th Grade

Practice Schedule

Monday

Kindergarten - 2nd- 6:15-7:00 PM
3rd - 6th Grade- 7:00 - 8:00 PM

Tuesday (Optional)

K-6th- 6:15 - 7:15 PM - Coach's Choice Mat Time

Thursday

Kindergarten - 2nd- 6:15-7:00 PM
3rd - 6th Grade- 7:00 - 8:00 PM

(We will follow the Greene County School's inclement weather procedures and closures for practice days)

Middle School/High School Wrestling Room
Greene County Middle School- 101 Ram Drive, Jefferson
(Enter Through North Wrestling Room Door)

Cost (Cost is for the entire season)

1st Wrestler - $100
Each additional Wrestler- $75
(Discounts apply to household family members only)

What's included-

Instructional mat time
Athlete will be provided with a wrestling singlet if they plan to wrestle tournaments

Required Items (Not provided by program)

Wrestling shoes- No street shoes on the wrestling mat ( Accepting wrestling shoe donations)
Athletic shorts and t-shirt
Water bottle
Mouth guard required for athletes with braces
Headgear
